Comprehensive Approach to Safety

Safety is a core value at Murphy Electric and Industrial Control. It is essential to our company that every employee is practicing in a safe manner. We care deeply about each one of our employees and want to see them return home to their families, friends and personal lives after each work day with zero harm done.

Preventative Measures

Safety Orientation - All employees must complete safety orientation with the safety department to review all OSHA and Company standards.

Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP) - The PSSP informs the employees on site of the scope of work for the project, site conditions, safety procedures, and Murphy Electric and Industrial Control contacts. This is created for all job sites and remains on site for the duration of the project.

Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) - A JHA covers the major activities of work that will be performed that day, the hazards associated with these activities, and ways to mitigate these hazards. Each Murphy Electric and Industrial Control employee must attend the Daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) meeting before each shift detailing their tasks for the shift.
